Any type of event can be configured to take a series of pictures (alarm, PA, fire, set/unset, access etc.). The pictures are all stored in the control panel within a panel expander board (PEB), which is able to store around 100 VGA or 400 QVGA images. These are sent wirelessly to the panel within around 2 seconds, and are then transmitted to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), where 3 pictures would be received within around 20 seconds of the alarm activation occurring. When activated (either via the PIR or via any other configured detectors associated with the PIR camera), the camera captures a series of pictures.
